Nevo Money LLC ("Nevo Money," "Nevo," "we," "us") operates the Nevo Money website, mobile apps, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, information created when you use the Services, and limited information from the providers you connect to Nevo Money.
This may include your name, email address, password, profile settings, budgets, manual accounts, linked-account details, balances, transactions, scheduled payments, categories, merchant information, notes, subscription and billing records, notification settings, device and diagnostic data, and support messages.
If you connect a financial institution through Plaid, we receive account and transaction details such as balances, amounts, dates, merchant descriptors, and categories. We do not receive your bank login credentials.
If you upload a statement or document, we process the file, extracted transactions, balances, dates, merchant details, categories, and any related analysis settings or results.
How We Use Information
We use information to provide, maintain, and improve Nevo Money, including syncing accounts, powering cash-flow forecasts, debt planning, statement workflows, merchant enrichment, statement analysis, support, notifications, billing, and account security.
We also use information to process subscriptions and billing through Stripe or Apple App Store in-app purchase, depending on purchase channel; send transactional notifications based on your settings; prevent fraud; investigate misuse; comply with legal obligations; and respond to support requests.
AI Processing
Some Nevo features use AI providers to improve forecasts, suggest break-even payments, classify transactions, enrich merchant and category information, and analyze uploaded statements. The AI providers we use for these features are OpenAI and Anthropic.
For these features, Nevo may send to OpenAI and/or Anthropic limited financial planning data, such as merchant names, transaction descriptions, dates, amounts, categories, scheduled payment details, account labels, and projection inputs.
Nevo does not send bank login credentials, full account numbers, Social Security numbers, or payment card numbers to AI providers. We do not use AI providers to sell personal information or for cross-app tracking.
Third-party AI processing is off by default. The first time you use a feature that relies on AI providers — including AI Smart Planning, break-even AI insights, projection AI, statement upload, and AI-assisted categorization — Nevo shows an in-app disclosure that lists what data may be sent and to which providers, and asks you to enable AI Smart Planning before any data is shared. If you decline, Nevo continues to work using deterministic planning and non-AI features.
You can revise or revoke this choice at any time from Settings › AI & Smart Planning inside the app. If you revoke consent, Nevo immediately stops sending data to AI providers for further processing.
Notifications and SMS Delivery
If you enable notifications, we may send in-app, push, email, or SMS notices related to your account and Nevo Money activity. SMS delivery requires a verified phone number and an active SMS setting inside Notification Center.
Nevo Money uses Twilio and related carrier infrastructure to deliver SMS. Message frequency varies based on your account activity, schedules, and settings. Message and data rates may apply.
Nevo Money SMS is used for transactional alerts such as certain linked-account issues, scheduled payment reminders, cash-flow alerts, and month-end status updates. It is not used to send unrelated promotional marketing.
You can stop SMS by replying STOP or by turning SMS off in the app. For help, reply HELP or contact support@nevomoney.com.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

How We Share Information
We share information only as needed to operate the Services, including with service providers such as Google Cloud and Firebase (hosting, authentication, database, storage, functions, diagnostics, notifications, and security), Plaid (linked-account data), Stripe and Apple App Store (subscriptions and billing, depending on purchase channel), Twilio (SMS delivery), OpenAI and Anthropic (AI-assisted product features), and Brandfetch (merchant and account branding).
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the Services, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or asset sale.
We do not sell your personal information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in data and consent records are not shared with any third parties.
International Transfers
Nevo Money LLC is based in the United States. If you use the Services from Canada, Mexico, Israel, or another country, your information may be processed and stored in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate.
Those countries may have privacy laws different from your country, and courts, regulators, or law enforcement authorities may be able to access information under local law.
Data Retention and Security
We keep account and service information for as long as needed to provide the Services, keep your account active, comply with legal, tax, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, support, and operational obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
You can request deletion, subject to records we must keep for legal or operational reasons, including billing records, security logs, support records, SMS consent records, backups, and records needed to complete deletion or prevent misuse.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encryption in transit and at rest where applicable. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices
You can update your profile information, disconnect linked accounts, change notification settings, and turn SMS delivery on or off inside the app.
Depending on where you live, you may request access to, correction or rectification of, deletion or cancellation of, or the right to object to, restrict, or opt out of certain processing of your personal information. We will respond as required by applicable law.
You can request account deletion or another privacy request by contacting support. If you receive SMS, you can also reply STOP at any time to opt out.
Children's Privacy
The Services are not intended for children under 13, or any higher minimum age required by your jurisdiction, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and revise the effective date above.
